Fresh and very Italian Nerola is a melange composed primarily of neroli, bergamot, orange blossom accompanied by an accord of vetiver and patchouli. The name Nerola refers to the Duchess Anna Maria Orsini of Bracciano, Princess of Nerola, who in the seventeenth century began to spread the use and name of this version of the nanfa water, already known in the Middle Ages and cited by Boccaccio.
